The Trulli (from the late Greek τρουλλος, cupola) is ancient
constructions in stone “to dry”, conic sections, of protostoriche
origins;
however, although in the zones of development of the trulli they are
recovered reperti archaeological of preistorica age, or foundations
of going back huts in stone to the age of the bronze, do not exist
trulli particularly antichi: this would be justified from the fact
second which rather than to supply to the repair of the same one in
dissesto case, it was preferred to pull down it and to reconstruct
it for economic reasons, ring-use of the material. Trulli the more
antichi than which us rests trace nowadays have been constructed in
XVI the century to ridosso of the pugliese cape of the Murgia.

piovana water. The thick walls of the trullo were constructed to dry
with a particular technique of stone superimposition and a lot often
was equips you of an interstice, where it came placed of the
terriccio, in order to maintain to the freschi inner atmospheres of
summer and warmth of winter. These come sormontati from one

steps re-entering towards the high), constituted from a double
limestone stone layer: an inside, of thick slabs piu', said chianche,
and the other outside, constituted true and just the roof, in
